# Signal Settings

When selecting a signal, or a signal group, you can change the appearance of this signal in the plot.

* Change the Style of the signals.

* Change the limits of the signals in the group (think the minimum and maximum of the y-axis). Changing the limits will apply to the entire group ;

* Reset the limits for the group, or ungroup the signals.

* When selecting an individual signal, you can also change the color of the signal.

## Show or Hide Signal Y-Axes

By default, if you add multiple signals to a plot that do not all belong to the same group (or do not have the same limits), the multiple y-axes will be hidden.

If you want to show these axes again, click the **Show all axes** button in the toolbar.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.marpledata.com/docs/marple-insight/user-manuals/analysis/plot-types/time-series/signal-settings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
