Cursors

Cursors in Marple Insight are used to display the values of visualized signals at specific points on the time axis.

When a second cursor is added, Marple can perform calculations between the two.

Marple can calculate the difference, minimum value, maximum value, and mean between the two cursors.

Placing a Primary Cursor

Simply click on the desired point in the time series plot to place the cursor.

Placing a Secondary Cursor

Hover over the plot and press the Space bar, or click the "Enable Secondary Cursor" button in the toolbar above the plot.

To remove the secondary cursor, press Escape or click the secondary cursor button again.

Calculations Between Cursors

These results are displayed to the left of the plot, between the primary cursor (solid line) and the secondary cursor (dotted line).
